Hit the Trails at McKell in August

Welcome sign!

Welcome sign!

August will soon be here. This Thursday the Summer Trail Race Series moves to McKell Wascana Conservation Park in south east Regina.

This 5.25 km short  (10.5 km long) course has little elevation changes and unless it rains, your feet should stay dry. But, it is still a trail, so there is some uneven terrain to keep your feet mindful of their step!

The area is quite nice, with views of the surrounding grasslands and lazy Wascana.

Directions are easy. Go to the south end of Prince of Wales Dr, turn left, then turn right at the intersection. Meeting spot is by the amphitheatre.

The course is also straight forward. Take every right turn offered onto trail (or dock) and turn around when you need to. I have uploaded a GPX file if you are interested.

Start time will remain 18:15.
