This year there was no fear of flooding in A E Wilson Park, but the wind made quite the impression! Typical Saskatchewan.
Thank you very much to the volunteers that set up the course, handled registration, timed the race, took photos and brought snacks. There were even boot shaped cookies! Without all of you, the race would not have taken place.
Predicted times ranged from just under 20 minutes to 34 minutes. The first runner to cross the finish line, or finish circle, was Jeannette Taylor! She had predicted 33 minutes and came in at 30:56. Great run Jeannette! It was said that her husband, Robb, was quite pleased to take the prized boot back to Lumsden.
