The (Almost Full) Harvest Moon Run

This nearly 5 km run under a nearly full moon is nearly a race, but it isn’t exactly 5 km, the moon isn’t exactly full, and it isn’t a race. But it will be fun!

This is a night run on Saturday October 24th. A headlamp or flashlight is required. Reflective clothing is required.

Location: Meet at the Lumsden Hotel & Steak Pit, 30 2nd Ave Lumsden, SK
Time: Short race briefing at 6:45 p.m., and the running will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Where do we run: The course will be outlined just prior to the run, or just follow the person in front of you – it’s a pretty casual run! Over the past 4 years, there have been 4 different courses, so stay tuned.
Requirements: Headlamp or flashlight and reflective clothing.
Registration:
Not required. This is a casual, fun run.

This event is not timed, and no prizes will be awarded for coming in first or last. It has turned out to be a fun time to have a non-competitive night run and enjoy the hospitality of Lumsden.

Following the race, everyone is invited to gather at the Lumsden Hotel to brag about this year’s races, drink a libation of your choice and enjoy the company of fellow runners.

Bring your friends, bring your neighbors for a fun non-competitive night run.
